Verandah is an art & literary anthology run annually by students of Deakin University. This years edition, under the theme of Transitions, features 25 submitted works from a wide variety of artists and authors.
The journal implements the theme of Transitions through a prominent use of gradients; from the illustrations both in and outside the book, to the underlines on headings. The typesetting features the typefaces Ambroise Std—a didone font that gives bold professionalism to the name of Verandah—and Work Sans for all other type applications for a legible printed work. The journal comes in both a physical printed copy and digital eBook publication, and can be purchased from their online store.
